Dr. Jenell Effinger
Clinical DirectorFront Range Treatment Center is overseen by Jenell Effinger, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist licensed in Colorado and Washington. She is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified DBT Clinician.™ Dr. Effinger specializes in treating issues of impulse control, self-injury, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and intense moods. She also works with individuals with psychotic experiences. Dr. Effinger teaches DBT skills courses and works with individual therapy clients who are seventeen years old and above.
Tanner Oliver, LCSW
General ManagerTanner Oliver, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in Colorado. Tanner is FRTC's general manager and supervises our team of licensed social workers and clinical social work candidates. He oversees FRTC's Couples DBT Program and has a special interest in anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, borderline personality disorder, and trauma-related issues. Tanner provides couples therapy and works with individual adult clients.
Kara Clapp, LPCC
Parent CoordinatorKara Clapp is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, holding a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. As Parent Coordinator, Kara is the primary contact and trainer for parents of clients in our Teen DBT and Child DBT programs. She leads our Friends and Family Program, offers DBT-informed couples therapy, DBT-C for children, and teaches DBT skills classes for adults.
Alexandra Bourgeois, LPCC
DBT/CBT TherapistAlexandra Bourgeois is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado. She is passionate about working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, self-harm, and PTSD. Alexandra believes therapy is a collaborative journey where clients are empowered to explore their strengths and work toward meaningful change. She leads DBT skills groups and offers individual therapy for teenagers and adults.
Emily Warner, LPCC
DBT/CBT TherapistEmily Warner is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, passionate about empowering individuals to navigate life's challenges. With a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach, she creates a safe space for clients to explore new perspectives and strategies for personal growth. Emily specializes in supporting individuals aged 13 and older facing overwhelming emotions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and substance use challenges. She leads DBT skills classes and provides tailored individual therapy.
Sarah Gordis, LCSW
DBT/CBT TherapistSarah Gordis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and California. She received her MSW from Columbia University and has extensive experience offering DBT and other evidence-based forms of CBT. Sarah is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for individuals, couples, and families coping with emotion dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal behaviors, post-traumatic stress, eating disorders, and substance use. She takes a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach to therapy with teens and adults.
