Online Therapy in Colorado
Online therapy and counseling for adults anywhere in Colorado — including our full comprehensive DBT program delivered entirely over secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Same evidence-based care as our Greenwood Village office, from wherever you are.
Why Choose FRTC for Online Therapy?
At FRTC, we only offer evidence-based treatments — meaning we pick the best treatment for you, shown by research to be effective, so you're more likely to get the results you want, faster.
For online therapy, we prioritize building and maintaining the client-therapist relationship. We use techniques like homework, workbooks, phone coaching, and data tracking to support your online work, specially tailored to your specific goals.

Our Specialty: Online DBT Therapy
Online DBT therapy is what we do best. Our comprehensive DBT program — individual therapy, skills classes, phone coaching, and a clinician consultation team — runs in full over video. That matters more than it sounds: most practices offering virtual DBT deliver "DBT-informed" talk therapy, not the complete model. FRTC is a DBT-Linehan Board Certified Program™, one of fewer than 30 in the country, and the online program is the same program.
All our therapists are intensively trained in DBT. Whether you're working on BPD, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, or relationship challenges, you'll receive the same certified-level care online.

Join Our Online DBT Skills Group
The part of DBT most virtual practices can't actually offer.
The weekly skills group is the engine of DBT — and ours meets over secure video, not just in person. Same curriculum as the Greenwood Village class: the four standard modules, live instruction from an FRTC clinician, practice, and handouts. It's structured like a class, not traditional group therapy, so you're learning concrete tools rather than processing in a circle.
Adults across Colorado join the online DBT skills group without traveling to Denver. You can join it as part of the comprehensive program, and we'll talk through which track fits on a free consultation call.
One exception, stated plainly: our teen multi-family skills group meets in person only, so the full Teen DBT program requires being within driving distance of the Denver metro. Individual teen therapy is available online statewide.
Serving All of Colorado — Not Just Denver
Colorado has a real access problem outside the Front Range: certified DBT programs cluster in the metro, and everywhere else gets a waitlist or a drive. Online therapy is how we close that gap. If you're in Boulder · Fort Collins · Colorado Springs · Pueblo · Greeley · Grand Junction · Durango · Steamboat · Summit County · the Western Slope — or anywhere else in the state — you can work with our clinicians without relocating your week around a commute.
You need to be physically located in Colorado during your session; that's a licensure requirement, not a preference. Beyond that, distance stops mattering.
