Is psilocybin-assisted therapy legal in Colorado?

Yes. Colorado's Natural Medicine Health Act (Proposition 122) legalized regulated psilocybin services for adults 21 and older. All sessions take place in a state-approved healing center with a licensed facilitator.

Who is this for?

Adults experiencing depression (including treatment-resistant cases), anxiety, PTSD, end-of-life distress, substance use challenges, or those seeking personal growth. Eligibility is confirmed through a thorough screening process.

Who should NOT pursue these services?

Psilocybin services are not appropriate for individuals with a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or certain other psychiatric conditions. Certain medications (SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium) may also need to be reviewed.

What's included in the $2,500 package?

Two preparation sessions, one guided administration session (6-8 hours), one integration session, all psilocybin product, and use of the state-licensed healing center. Additional prep or integration sessions are $175 each.

What happens during the session?

You take psilocybin in a calm, private healing center with your licensed facilitator present throughout. Eye shades and music support an inward experience. The session typically lasts 4-6 hours. You are never left alone.

Does insurance cover this?

Natural medicine services are not currently covered by insurance. We provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds may also be used.

How is this different from recreational use?

This is therapeutic support in a clinical context. Professional preparation, licensed facilitation, and structured integration afterward are what make this meaningfully different from unsupervised recreational use.
